Communication is key to "expression" and that's the theme of this months energetickxchange  Workshop at the Ishta Centre, Stone, this Saturday (March 29th). Prebooking is essential and with only one place remaining, you'll need to act quickly if it's going to have your name on it!
My good friend/fellow Kundalini Yogini Barbara (SimplyB Yoga) and I "tag team" teach at the venue and I'll be on the mat this month - we may even surprise you and "team teach" in the not too distant future... Contact Barbara or myself for bookings; as April is almost full already...

If you're looking to combine your Kundalini Yoga practice with a beautiful May Spring Break to Paxos, also check out SimplyB.
Or for another opportunity to get away and deepen your practise with Harijiwan, a revered master of Kundalini Yoga, this June, visit www.yogaaway.co.uk

After class at Eubotic tonight (Circulation Kriya), I was asked about forthcoming "Gong Baths" -

Yogi Bhajan says: "The gong is the first and last instrument for the human mind; there is only one thing that can supersede and command the human mind, the sound of the gong. It is the first sound in the Universe, the sound that created this Universe. It's the basic creative sound. To the mind, the sound of the gong is like a mother and father that gave it birth. The mind has no power to resist a gong that is well played."

Beads of Truth 3/74

Group consciousness is a must. Individual consciousness must come to group consciousness. Group consciousness leads to universal consciousness.

Yogi Bhajan - The Teachings of Yogi Bhajan

Meditating in class, at a workshop or alone at home are all great ways to "clear the junk of the mind". Getting together in our local Kundalini communities, sharing with others or participating in the monthly KRI meditations and global meditations, all bring us closer to universal consciousness ... I'm on day eight of a meditation we began in class last week - "Healing the Physical, Mental and Spiritual Bodies" ... It's real "central nervous system control therapy". You can choose to utilise the mantra "Har, Haray, Haree, Wahe Guru", during this meditation and I know it's that connection with the sound current that has got me through these initial days, especially when my arms begin to shake in those final couple of minutes!

You can find this meditation on pg 37 of "Self Experience" -  what's your current meditation? Share your meditation experiences by commenting below.

You're Welcome ...
Following another wonderful workshop at Eubotic Health & Holistic Clinic on Saturday, it seemed the right time to take all the subtle hints and start connecting with my fellow yoginis/yogis outside our class time in this "virtual space".

The workshop explored "Growth & Healing", through Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness: an ancient technology utilising Kriya (conscious movement, pranayam, meditation and relaxation). It's part of a series of workshops I'm delivering this year in conjunction with my soul sister Niki from Yoga Heaven - we'll be back on May 3rd to celebrate, connect and embrace life; so if you're interested in finding out more about Kundalini Yoga, or already a regular practitioner feel free to contact me for more information.

Coming up this week are the usual set of evening classes in West Bromwich, Stoke and Wolverhampton (Tues, Weds and Thurs - 6.30 until 7.45pm), culminating with the monthly (every last Saturday) workshop at the Ishta Centre, Stone, Staffs (pre-booking required), where we will be practising a Kriya for the lotus of the throat; working on the thyroid, parathyroid, thymus and  immune system - working towards hearing and speaking your truth.

In the meantime, why not join in with the KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) Meditation of the month?

Looking forward to seeing you on your mat again soon
